August of this year, Kyle and I had the opportunity to go to a Brendan James concert. But it wasn't just any old concert, it was a backyard concert! We got to be on the third row! Our friends, the Bates, are huge fans of Brendan James and follow him on social media and found out that he wasn't doing a big concert in Utah, but there would be an opportunity to have a private concert. So, that's what happened! They booked Brendan James to come to a friend's house. Kyle and I were lucky enough to be invited to this small get together, where there was around 50 people.
For one, Brendan James is an awesome Singer/Songwriter,and two, he is just an awesome person in general. He told us a lot of cool stories about how songs came to be and just life experiences. After the concert, we got to meet him and talk to him. I also bought a T-shirt for his new album "Simplify." We decided that we really enjoyed his music and bought two of his albums, which we listen to a lot! Every time we get sick of the radio, we'll just turn on Brendan James, and it makes everything happier and more peaceful.
